As a results you are given a kickstart in jumping into these debates and finding solutions. On our criminology and sociology degree you will consider the criminal justice system and explore theoretical positions within sociology and criminology. You'll gain a strong theoretical grounding, analytical expertise and the communication skills needed to kickstart a successful career in a wide range of fields. This means you are ready to go into the areas you are passionate about and effect change in the places you want to see it.Year Abroad: You are expected to adhere to any academic progression requirements in Stages 1 and 2 to proceed to the year abroad. If the requirement is not met, you will be transferred to the equivalent three-year programme. The year abroad is assessed on a pass/fail basis and will not count towards your final degree classification.Year in Industry: You have the option to add a year in industry to this course.
