Best- the support lectures and personal tutors give if you ask or say you’re not understanding they do everything to help you and explain to you. Worst- the student placement team, I feel they’re not fully adapted to all courses offering placement years yet as my course and year is the 1st or 2nd year to complete the year in industry. I feel they have not built enough connections in this field, not fully supported to help students in this situation.

It is very inclusive and has great study spots for groups or individuals! It could be improved by adding more funding to the bus routes/creating a university owned bus line

Student support in this uni is excellent, whatever problem I have encountered, someone has always been quick to reply and solve the issue, ensuring I get the help I need, especially as I am under the Disability bracket of students. I was granted alternative assessments and extenuation options very quickly when I have encountered health and life issues that have impacted my studies, so I am very thankful for the help, which made me a lot less anxious and it even enhanced my studying techniques and confidence. However, I do believe that some improvements could be made, such as the module options for final year students. Sadly, I have been left with little choices due to timetable crashes, which lead me to choosing options I don’t resonate with, therefore timetables could be made more effective to ensure students do get the most out of their time while studying in Swansea Uni so that they can actually study their desired fields.

Best aspects of studying at Swansea: - The student community is amazing - All lectures I have found are so willing to help and support you. Lectures can even adapt their teacher style to better accommodate the class, they’re so welcoming to everyone voice - The wide range of sports and societies - Being able to study at a campus university where you can feel you live in a big city and a quiet town all in the same place. There are so many areas to explore in Swansea - THE BEACH - The spaces on campus for students to chill, eat, drink, study - The quality of the teaching

best: i love the independence im given here! worst: i travel into uni as i don’t live on campus and it’s rather expensive
