Build your knowledge of vital principles at the heart of the criminal justice system and learn why they need to be positioned in a comparative and critical framework. Our ground-breaking Criminal Litigation LLM is devoted exclusively to the field, enabling you to advance your career in a focused manner.
You will learn about fundamental principles upon which the criminal justice system is based by positioning them in a comparative context.
We have designed the degree to allow you to examine crucial areas of criminal litigation in far greater depth than usually possible, either at undergraduate level or during a professional training course.
Our specialist programme is the first postgraduate degree in the UK to be dedicated exclusively to the critical study of criminal litigation. You will benefit from a unique qualification.
The course is delivered using a hybrid model of delivery enabling students to either attend in person on campus or online via Teams, with all students being able to interact and participate in the class regardless of their mode of attendance.
Classes are recorded and supported by extensive online materials so it is also possible to follow the course asynchronously.
We are interested in receiving applications from individuals with at least an upper second-class honours undergraduate degree in law (roughly equivalent to a B or B+) from a recognised international institution. Applicants with a good undergraduate degree in another subject will also be considered.
