The FdA Creative Arts for Health and Wellbeing is designed to be combined with employment or a voluntary placement while studying to gain vital relevant experience and use creativity to engage communities in ways that enrich their lives.This dynamic course is designed to enable you to work with groups using the creative arts in art, health, care or education contexts. Creative activity is known to have tangible benefits on health and wellbeing. The arts, creative practice and the human imagination are all agents of wellness, they encourage resilience, flourishing and in mental health are an established means of aiding recovery. You will examine concepts of psychotherapy, while developing creative skills and applying this to supporting the work of others.
