Learning and assessment

The course is made up of seven modules arranged into three awards: Postgraduate Certificate in Construction Project Management; Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Project Management; and MSc in Construction Project Management.

For the Postgraduate Certificate everyone studies three modules. They are Risk and Value Management, Project Planning, Control and Analysis and Project Team and Leadership Development.

The Postgraduate Diploma is made up of six modules including two modules in Strategic Project Management and Advanced Construction Technology. You’ll study Technical Tools and Solutions for Achieving Project Success, including studies of typical projects and current issues relating to the practice and process of construction. A final module is Health and Safety Management. Students can also exit with PGCert and PGDip awards.
