If you are interested in game and character concept design, environment design for film or illustration our Concept Art & Illustration degree course is perfect for you.This exciting course explores the traditional and new alternative approaches to concept art & Illustration. Our tutors will instruct you in industry standard software and teach you the latest techniques used by today's top concept artist and illustrators and prepare you for this incredible creative industry.Building on the core fundamentals of figurative drawing, perspective, composition & lighting, you will master the apply the latest techniques used by today's top concept artist and illustrators and prepare you for this incredible industry.You can expect a varied programme of assignments that highlight the importance of technical skills within the industry. Students have access to excellent facilities with high spec computer suites with the latest versions of industry standard software (including the Adobe Suite, Zbrush, Blender & Autodesk), also cutting-edge resources including high-end Apple Macintosh computers, Microsoft Surface Studio and Wacom Cintiq. And with small class sizes, students have plenty of access to these facilities.The final year will provide you with the opportunity to exhibit your work at ‘New Designers’ in London alongside national and international graduates.
