Our computing for business course teaches you how to apply emerging technology in a business environment. It covers core computing skills and specialised modules focusing on business intelligence - database systems, project management, analysis and design. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects in the local community and further afield, applying your developing knowledge and providing practical solutions for real-life problems.Whether you choose to continue with your studies or go straight into work, the course will equip you with the skills and expertise employers and investors are looking for.Our Industrial Liaison Group maintains close links with industry and employers, ensuring our course reflects the latest developments in business practice and technological development.The Computing for Business course is either three years full-time, four years with an optional one-year work placement or five years part-time. We're fully accredited by the British Computer Society, the chartered institute for IT, so our course will set you on the path to becoming a Chartered IT Professional (CITP).
