Our computer science course at Edinburgh Napier will help you gain a full understanding of computing tools, techniques and practices across a wide range of application areas.Unlike computer science courses elsewhere, at Edinburgh Napier you will be taught by world leading scientists in specialist facilities which contain high-speed computers with all essential software. Our course will teach you computer programming fundamentals that will propel you into employment after university.This course will allow you to develop a critical understanding of Computer Science, in particular the use of Artificial Intelligence to solve problems and software engineering skills to build software solutions. During your first year, you will develop software design and engineering skills which will later be used to allow you to develop software algorithms ad make use of artificial intelligence based tools and concepts.In addition, you will develop a critical understanding of problem solving using a range of analysis techniques to design and implement software that will solve a wide range of complex problems.Work Placement: Yes and Study abroad: Yes.
