My best aspects is the block teaching and the fun things and events in school to take our mind off stress. I don’t think I have any worst aspects yet

This has been a wonderful university experience for me. I've heard that this university is highly effective for both students and teachers, and I truly feel that I have benefited greatly from my time here. After nearly ten months of study, I have gained valuable experience and genuinely appreciate the supportive environment. I am very happy to be part of this university community, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this caring culture. Thank you to my university for giving me this chance to grow and learn in such a warm and welcoming place.

Best Aspects: De Montfort University is a very good place to study because of its learning environment and sense of community. The Artificial Intelligence course at De Montfort University has a very good combination of theory and practice sessions, which enable the students to apply what they have studied in class to practical situations. The lecturers are very approachable and knowledgeable and help out the students when they need assistance. The environment in the university, including its labs and libraries, is very clean and provides a very productive environment to study in. The different people from different backgrounds of the university make it a very welcoming place to study. Areas for Improvement: Although overall it has been an extremely positive experience, there could be a few small areas of improvement, particularly in terms of consistency across modules, particularly with regards to assessment feedback and advice. There could also be more interaction between industry and academia, perhaps through industry speakers and/or industry-related projects.

The campus is centrally located in Leicester city centre, making it easy to access shops, transport and social life. However slow administrative responses, timetable changes, delayed grades or unclear assessment instructions.

I love the way the teachers really pay attention to students, trying to make sure no one is left behind. The labs for my course computer science is well equipped and spacious making it a wonderful experience. I love the block teaching method at De Montfort University. It gives me space to grasp every content and not being overwhelmed with so many course at a time. There so many functioning support groups at student union and it’s lovely to see that.
