You will be able to develop your programming skills (in C and Java), and tackle advanced tasks, both individually and in groups, helping you to gain and develop valuable transferable skills, including team working, communication, presentation and problem-solving. During your final year, you will undertake a large scientific project using problem solving principles, drawing on the research strengths of the department in the areas of human-computer interaction, theoretical computer science and visual computing.
