Contact TimeThe full-time pathway includes approximately 17 hours contact time per week, encompassing lectures, seminars, practicals and tutorials. You are also expected to carry out a significant amount of private study in addition to contact time (25-30 hours a week).The part-time pathway includes approximately 9 hours contact time per week, encompassing lectures, seminars, practicals and tutorials. You are also expected to carry out a significant amount of private study in addition to contact time (12-15 hours a week).You can expect to receive your timetables during the first week of the programme.
ProgressionThe programme is designed to enable you to progress to the Level 5 (second year stage) of a relevant course such as Higher National Diploma. Students can also progress onto year 2 of the BSc Sport, Coaching and Development programme available at University Centre Bishop Burton.
