In MA Classical Studies, you will combine the following study of the classical world: * history * archaeology * literature It is possible, but not obligatory, to take ancient Greek or Latin as part of the programme. The evidence for the Graeco-Roman world is richly varied. You will be able to explore that intrinsically interesting world from several different disciplinary angles and to build up a comprehensive view of the Greek and Roman civilisations. The study of the classical world in a multidisciplinary manner allows you to gain a rounded view of the origins of European civilisation through the combination of philological, historical and archaeological inquiry.
