This practical degree will prepare you to shape the world's future by combining an excellent foundation in all aspects of Civil Engineering with the hands-on experience that employers are looking for. You'll study key topics including structural engineering, design, construction, geotechnics, hydraulics, and building information modelling (BIM), with an emphasis on their real-world applications. That means we treat you like a trainee engineer from day one, providing access to industry-standard technology on campus – including state-of-the-art labs for materials testing, fluid dynamics, 3D printing, robotics and more. The Humber is also home to over 350 engineering companies, making it an ideal location to forge connections throughout your degree as well in your Placement Year.
