What I like most is that the teachers are very forthcoming, the timetable takes mental health into consideration and has thus less contact time. The Moduls are not difficult, sometimes demanding but not difficult, we have many excursions and site visits and learn many programs that will be useful in our professional life. What I don’t like is that buildings are far away from each other, rooms sometimes switch without us getting informed (happens maybe 4 times per semester) and the internet connection, be it mobile or WiFi is sometimes not available, good or restrictive on going to social media (it’s no problem 95% of the time, but when it’s an issue it’s very noticeable)

The worst aspect is not the Uni, it’s the situation around it, for instance public transport with only busses or the train station being so far away from the city center or that rent is high. But specifically about the Uni I have nothing to complain about as my Uni in Germany could learn a lot from Coventry in its structure and administration. Now that I think about it, classes starting early yet ending late as the courses are not bunched up more and the expensive canteen prices

Overall my experience was both good and bad staying at home was very nice as I am not a person that goes out a lot, but studying at home was difficult because it caused a loss of motivation and quite stressful due to Covid-19. However my lecturers were very helpful and they made sure that they would provide more support than usual as they knew how difficult it was for us to be studying courses from home as most courses require practical things as well as theory, but I also believe that studying from home is not worth the tuition fees we do pay as sometimes I could not even get in touch with some lecturers to ask for support for assignments.

Plenty of places to socialize and study, the library is great. The organization and communication between the university and its students is lacking as there was a lot of confusion with my course, in relation to enrollment particularly when I started.
