**CIVIL ENGINEERING (5 year MEng programme):**- Civil engineers design and build major structures and provide the skills and expertise to design, build and maintain the country’s infrastructure. In year 3 you will take part in a design project with students of architecture and quantity surveying to solve real-life design problems, just as you would do in professional life. CIVIL ENGINEERING (5 year MEng programme):

- Civil engineers design and build major structures and provide the skills and expertise to design, build and maintain the country’s infrastructure. In year 3 you will take part in a design project with students of architecture and quantity surveying to solve real-life design problems, just as you would do in professional life. In fourth year, MEng students study a greater range of advanced analytical topics than BEng students. Year 5 of the MEng programme contains a mix of advanced courses and major design project work, some involving practising engineers, which are intended to develop professional-level skills.
