Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry

Overall the lecturers very supportive, the courses very challenging, but its fun! The library covers everything I need. The amount of courses is actually compulsory only for my 1st semester, and the assessments come together in the same time! Makes me overwhelmed but still okay we have wellbeing support.

The campus is nice and around town which can be easily accessed, with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and parks nearby which is very chill and comfy. Something to improve is the wifi network is a bit slow

The first three years were very insightful. We managed to grasp a good understanding for the world and studies of chemistry. As young scientists, we have been inspired to make this world better via thoroughly understanding the subject and utilising problem solving skills to apply to everyday problems. We have been introduced a range of subunits to chemistry like medicinal chemistry and physical chemistry so that we can learn what route we would like to take in chemistry.

I love Newcastle University and was my top choice when applying. I love the campus feel of the uni and halls even though it is based in the centre of the city. There is always something going on in the city whether you are a party animal or if you prefer chilling out in the park or going to the beach. Also with the stadium so close to the uni it is a must while studying here! As student that lives in London coming up North was a definate as everyone is so lovely up here, always helpful and always up for a chat. The student union is was done up recently is a great place to work and grab a bite to eat. Newcastle university is great and I recommend all to come!!! (btw everything is cheap up here too :) )
