Embracing the traditions of craftsmanship, our BA (Hons) Ceramics & Glass course at UCA Farnham combines a respect for the subject’s heritage with a forward-thinking attitude to designing and making. Learning through making is key on this course, and using our incredible specialist facilities, you will be introduced to a range of processes common to both ceramics and glass, including mould-making, print and other surface techniques. Specialist areas such hand building, throwing, slip-casting, 3D ceramic printing, glass blowing, kiln-forming and lamp working are also covered.
