Underpinned by an ethos promoting ethical and client-centred professional practice, this course aims to equip you with relevant, high quality career guidance practitioner skills such as interviewing and developing career learning programmes, as well as designing and using labour market information to provide effective insight and advice.

Taught through blended learning (online and face-to-face teaching) and fully accredited by the Career Development Institute (CDI), on successful completion you will additionally be eligible for the Qualification in Career Development (QCD) (please note that this is subject to membership, application and additional costs will apply) which can allow you to work in a variety of career guidance provider contexts. The CDI is the UK-wide professional body for everyone working in the fields of career education, career coaching, career consultancy, career management and career information, advice and guidance.

As part of this course you will undertake a professional development module in Entrepreneurship accredited by the Chartered Management Institute.
