The BA (Hons) Business and Sustainability is an innovative new top-up honours degree developed through a partnership between New College Lanarkshire, and UWS. Delivered in New College Lanarkshire, a key feature of this degree is that it provides a pathway from college to university, with students able to complete an HND while in college before progressing to the BA (Hons) Business and Sustainability degree. The BA (Hons) Business and Sustainability programme provides students with an opportunity to study towards a degree in business that concentrates, not only on general areas of business sectors, but also focusses on critical issues that affect our planet and its survival. The degree has a strong focus on sustainability, equipping graduates to address pressing environmental and social issues facing business and society. This includes core modules focused on sustainability, Sustainable Business Development, Sustainable Development Goals, Sustainable Leadership, Circular Economy, Social Innovation, and ethical and sustainable business practices. The degree equips you to help address environmental and social issues facing modern organisations. Sustainability is now recognised as a crucial element of modern business practice and key to future development. The degree includes assessments based on real-world issues, an inquiry-based learning approach, and developing students' critical thinking on matters relating to responsible business practices and sustainability.
