The Business Psychology (International Route) Top-up degree is a one academic year (September to June), full time campus-based programme designed for international students with a Level 5 equivalent (e.g. HND or associate degree) in either Business or Psychology. It explores the practical interplay between the two disciplines. The course is for you if you wish to continue your studies at final year (Level 6) honours level in the UK whilst also developing academic and vocational English-medium skills. The course helps you adjust to studying in the UK as you earn a full honours degree as well as developing the skills and knowledge needed to continue to further postgraduate study in English or English-medium work. This degree prepares you for further study at master’s level in the UK. On this programme you will:Develop the academic and communication skills you need to perform at postgraduate level in English or in a Business or Psychology role which needs English .Gain knowledge of and engage in the scientific study of human experience and behaviour and develop an in-depth understanding of key psychological principles and theories as applied to business.Develop your personal and academic English language skills.Gain confidence and experience at functioning in English-medium academic and vocational environments.Learn to conduct independent research projects and to evaluate research in your field so that you are ready for postgraduate study in English.Benefit from quality teaching by skilled academics who are experts in their field with real professional experience.Improve your English skills with workshop-based interactive activities in small classes alongside other international and UK students.Benefit from our specialist individual and tailored support for international students.Be guaranteed admission to our postgraduate programmes (in Business or Psychology) if you achieve a 2:2 or above and be eligible for Chichester postgraduate programme bursaries if you achieve a 2:1 or above.
