Cognitive psychology. Social psychology. Decision making. Fairness at work. This course lets you combine your interests in human behaviour and business operations. You dont need any psychology or business knowledge when you join us, just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Our focus is on preparing you for a career as a business psychologist. We help you learn the practical skills youll need for the future. Youll learn how to manage client relationships, identify problems and come up with solutions.

During your final year, you will have the opportunity to create your own project around a challenge. You'll collect and analyse data, and applying your creativity to solve the issue, mirroring real-world scenarios commonly encountered in professional environments.

Future You

Depending on your ambitions, you can also personalise the course with our option modules. Maybe youre interested in coaching? Or passionate about diversity in the workplace? Choose subjects around your interests and even complete your research project in that area.

Business psychologists are helping Lego understand the value of play in the workplace. Theyre helping NASA train astronauts for the stress of space missions. And theyre helping the gaming industry make video games more exciting and challenging.

Or find yourself working in-house with an organisation, like the NHS and Ministry of Justice, where they have an entire occupational psychology department. Many business psychologists also find writing work discussing psychological issues for magazines and blogs.

Career prospects

Many organisations have already seen the value of having a business psychologist on board.

Our graduates work in a wide range of positions in:
