Our three-year BSc Business Management programmes share a generic first year, during which you will take seven compulsory modules from across the range of business disciplines, providing a broad understanding of business and management contexts and processes..The BSc Business Management (International Management) programme examines the distinctive processes of management in multinational enterprises and considers the influence of the international business context on such companies. It also covers regional patterns of business activity, with a particular emphasis on Japanese business and other rapidly developing business systems in East Asia.The programme reflects the internationalisation of business activity and the growth of companies with global reach. It also offers the opportunity to study abroad for one semester during the second year.


Distinctive features

- the opportunity to study in a School that was ranked 6th in the UK for research quality and joint 1st for research environment in the 2014 Research Excellent Framework (REF);- the involvement of research-active staff in teaching;- the emphasis on independent learning in a research-led environment;- the variety of modules on offer in a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary School;- progression through core and specialist option modules;- the opportunity to study abroad with or without a language component.

For applicants taking the EPQ qualification, an A in the EPQ can be recognised to lower the entry requirements by a single grade. For example, an AAB offer would be "AAB from 3 A-levels or ABB from 3 A-levels and a grade A in the EPQ". Please note that any subject specific requirements must be met.

You must have or be working towards English language or Welsh language at GCSE grade C/4 or an equivalent (if you require a Tier 4 visa, you must ensure your language qualification complies with UKVI requirements) and GCSE Maths grade B/6 or equivalent qualification (subject and grade). If you are taking A-level Maths (or equivalent), GCSE Maths is not required. Core Maths may also be accepted in place of GCSE Maths.
