Current industry requirement of graduates is that not only are they able to manage business processes, but continuously identify opportunities, solve problems and develop growth avenues. This course will equip students for a future career in events management.
In addition to business acumen, the course aims to develop valuable and transferable skills and knowledge in events management, planning, opportunity development, creative thinking and organisation.
This course focuses on the development of essential skills in management, research, organisation and events. These skills are much sought after by employers in an increasingly competitive environment.
Placements
The exciting course does not offer placements. However, the Live Event module requires students to plan, organise and manage a real event and therefore promotes leadership, analytical, organisational, reflective and management skills in a real-life setting.
CAREERS
The graduate can seek employment in the events industry in particular. This can often satisfy their personal interests especially in the arts (e.g. music festivals, theatre, etc.).
