.The BSc (Hons) Business Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship pathway explores technological and innovation trends and their impact on organisations.This degree is right for you if you want to gain a broad understanding of business with a strong emphasis on transformation, technology and new venture creation . You will explore the processes in creating digital start-ups from inception to launch and learn about technological and innovation trends and their impact on the operations of organisations. You will study the exceptional challenges associated with innovations that can trigger massive changes in what is possible within a business.You will gain a sound knowledge of the business models adopted by such organisations, of the economics surrounding the technology sector and of the different techniques and approaches which can contribute to the success of start-up businesses.The Business Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship pathway will prepare you for working for a large organisation, identifying and reacting to threats of technology-based disruptive innovation, but will also be in a position to launch a digital start-up.At Bayes we value sustainable, ethical business and we embed it into our curriculum. That's why we are also a member of the United Nation’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative, meaning we are well placed to train the next generation of business leaders capable of managing the complex demands faced by business and society in the 21st century. Our entire suite of undergraduate business management programmes have been created to ensure ethical, social, environmental, cultural, and economic considerations are central to your preparation as future leaders in business. All Bayes undergraduate students will also choose from a range of professional experience modules so that when you graduate you are equipped with the knowledge and experience to make you an attractive candidate to employers. You will also take a career-focused module suitable for your chosen course to help you prepare for entering the job market.This degree is available as a three-year degree, or four-year degree for those who wish to take up a one-year work placement sandwich option or to take a sandwich year studying abroad. The four-year degree offers excellent opportunities to gain relevant work experience to prepare you for your career, and to make contacts in the world of business. You also have the option to apply for a study abroad sandwich year at one of our highly-respected partner institutions across the world. In an increasingly globalised business environment this is excellent preparation. There are six BSc Business Management degree pathways taught at Bayes: BSc Business Management, BSc Business with Finance, BSc Business with Marketing, BSc Business Management with Social Purpose, BSc Business Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship and BSc International Business. At any time during the first-one-and-a-half years of the degree, students can switch to a different pathway, subject to the availability of places.
