As part of this course, you’ll:- Develop an expert understanding of how businesses operate and build the skills needed to become a strategic and successful manager- Study the foundations of effective business management. This will include accounting and finance, data analytics and developing your understanding of markets and customers- Delve into more complex topics in your second and third years, such as sustainability in business, strategy, ethics and the influence of AI- Learn how businesses can use smart technology to become more sustainable, grow, adapt, improve, and ultimately succeed in future markets- Begin to understand business and management issues at both a national and global level and across a wide array of industries and sectors- Foster your entrepreneurialism as you build your specialist business knowledge- Put your knowledge into practice through in-class case study work, internships, study abroad and volunteering- Enhance your entrepreneurial skills through active participation in national student competitions, such as the IBM University Business Challenge- Have the opportunity to combine the core aspects of business and management with our pathway subjects, finance, enterprise, marketing and law- Gain the practical experience needed to impress potential employers
