The Management School is amongst an elite group of business schools to hold the gold standard triple accreditation.The BA Business Economics programme gives you a firm foundation of knowledge in business economics, as well as a complementary training in a focused business pathway: Accounting and Finance or International Business.Covering the main principles of business and your chosen pathway you will also study the key areas of economics to understand and put into a business context its role within business, the UK and the wider global economy.By developing quantitative and analytical skills as well as a broader business knowledge our graduates are highly employable, finding careers in a variety of specialist and general business related roles in companies such as Bank of America, Deloitte, PepsiCo, PwC, Sky as well as smaller specialist firms.Links with Professional BodiesWith excellent teaching and quality content the programme is accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Exemptions from various examination papers are available upon successful completion of certain modules.This programme is available with either a Year in China or a Year Abroad. The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLU's BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. The Year Abroad offers students the opportunity to spend a full academic year studying at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and/or discipline-related modules. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China or a Year Abroad you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.
