It aims to provide you with an understanding of the different functional areas of business and a solid foundation for a career in business management. It focuses on developing your academic knowledge at the same time as providing you with a range of practical skills to enable you to succeed in the workplace.

You will develop an understanding of the key concepts in the business management discipline and explore the application of these concepts in practice. You will gain practical knowledge by engaging with practitioners to address real-life challenges.

 You will learn via a range of different methods including lectures, seminars, presentations and group discussions. To help you gain practical knowledge first-hand, we also host guest speakers and offer you live case study sessions and panel discussions with entrepreneurs and practitioners.This course is available to study full- or part-time.

If you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree.
