Build the knowledge and skills you need to analyse, solve problems, and lead teams so you can forge ahead in your career in this incredibly broad and varied field. While studying at ARU Peterborough, you’ll cover all of the important aspects of business and management, including organisational structures, objectives, and performance, to enable you to add value quickly in a variety of business and managerial roles. The course also will enable you to apply a commercial mindset to sustainable business practices.You’ll explore the strategic importance of human resource and people management, as well as contemporary issues such as globalisation, sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation, social responsibility, diversity, ethics, and risk management. You’ll also become adept at using communication and information technology effectively for business. You'll have the opportunity to direct your learning during your course by choosing from a range of elective business modules.Additionally, as all of our undergraduate business students share their first year of study, if you decide that you would like to specialise from Year 2, you can swap onto one of our specialist pathways with no additional costs or modules to take. GCSE/National 4/National 5GCSE/National 4/National 5:
5 GCSEs at grade D, or grade 3, or above including English and maths and evidence of two years post-GCSE study at Level 3. If you have achieved at least grade E in one A level, or equivalent, you are exempt from the two year post-GCSE study requirement, but you still have to meet the GCSE requirements. If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
