The HND Business and Management programme provides the skills and understanding for graduates to help shape the changing nature of business. Students study traditional business areas from a new perspective which takes account of the challenges of global change, and also examine wider global contexts.Our HND Business and Management programme has sustainable thinking at its core and as a learner you will challenge existing paradigms, interrogate new paradigms and debate business solutions which will prepare you for employment in the rapidly changing twenty –first century environment. We hope that our graduates will be a part of shaping business thinking in the world.As a student of the programme you will experience a flexible, transformational learning approach which aims to increase your employability not just today, but for the rapidly evolving workplace of the future. A report by the World Economic Forum notes that by 2020 35% of the skills that are considered important for today’s employment will have changed; according to the report, the top three skills required by the workforce will be complex problem solving, critical thinking and creativity. By studying HND Business and Management with us you will gain the skills and abilities to creatively solve the problems of the future by engaging in problem based learning which aims to transforms your thinking about business and management, makes you question the accepted and immerses you in collaboration.

Please note also that our offers are not based solely on your academic achievements; we take into account your full range of skills, experience and attainments when considering your application.The degree welcomes applicants who have previously studied business for a natural progression. Those who have studied other subject areas will transfer well. Those with work experience, but few formal qualifications, may also join the programme. A-Level and Edexcel awards, as well as a range of other certificates at this level from UK, EU and International bodies are respected.Grades are important; however, our offers are not solely based on academic results. We are interested in creative people that demonstrate a strong commitment to their chosen subject area and therefore we welcome applications from individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. To assess student suitability for their chosen course we normally arrange interviews for all applicants at which your skills, achievements and life experience will be considered as well as your qualifications.
