Description

This Business Foundation Degree is unique; at the centre of our programme of learning is the student's employability and the understanding of how businesses function and thrive.

Students will be introduced to the professional standards of corporate business and be exposed to entrepreneurial concepts that will enable them to see opportunities for creating businesses or engage in a rewarding career.

The Awarding Body for this course is Warwickshire College.

Assessment methods

The degree programme is entirely assessed using a series of assignments throughout the two year programme. There are no formal examinations for successful completion of the course.

Students are expected to complete 100 hours of work-based or placement learning by the end of Level 5.

Career progression

Students on the course may already be in employment and many find they take on extra responsibility or gain promotion on successful completion of the FdA. Successful completion of the FdA Business and Management course ensures that graduates are eligible to apply for the BA (Hons) Business and Management (Top-Up) course delivered at Warwickshire College and University Centre.

Alternative progression routes are potentially available at other UK universities and the WCG Careers and Guidance team can help with applications where required.
