Course description
The MSc in Business Analysis and Finance provides you with the opportunity to apply your knowledge of economics to the analysis of business problems and finance. The course combines advanced academic learning with real-world practical insights and will open up a wide range of career opportunities.
By taking this MSc, you will gain advanced knowledge and expertise in quantitative techniques and have the opportunity to apply those skills to problem solving in the areas of business regulation, organisation and finance. The course will equip you with computer skills which can be applied to business data analysis and develop your confidence in the use and presentation of economic arguments in your professional role.
On completion of the MSc you will be prepared for a wide variety of careers in management, the civil service and international organisations
Teaching and learning
You will be taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, classes and computer practicals. You will be supported throughout your studies by staff who are also available for private supervision. Each week on average you will receive six to eight hours of lectures and four hours of seminars.
