Strategy. Communication. Responsibility. There’s a lot to think about when you’re managing a business. Join us to develop the skills to lead others and overcome any challenges along the way. To become an effective leader in business you need to make good decisions. You need to take risks and embrace opportunities. And, you need to understand the impact you have on the world around you. Here at Manchester Met, we want to help you become the best you can be, whether you want to work in a multinational corporation, a charity or your own business. Over one year, you’ll build on your existing business-related credits from a HND, foundation year or equivalent to gain a full honours degree. You’ll learn how to develop strategies to help businesses stay competitive, and discover how to solve the challenges all businesses face when balancing profits and responsibility.

Career prospects

Business skills are essential in any organisation, anywhere in the world. The opportunities really are endless. Many of our graduates decide to apply for graduate schemes to fast-track their way to management positions. Others decide to work with start-ups or not-for-profit organisations and charities. Some even start their own businesses.

If you decide to carry on your studies, there are a number of suitable degrees at Manchester Met. With postgraduate study, you can learn more about specific subjects like management, consultancy or entrepreneurship to help you stand out from other applicants in the job market.
