The degree also aims to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students and to instil a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. Ultimately this programme aims to produce competent and compassionate veterinary nurses who are well-equipped to make meaningful contributions to animal health and welfare. Upon successful completion of the programme students can apply to become a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons registered veterinary nurse.
