This BSc (Hons) Podiatry with Foundation Year course is a 4-year course that will give you the practical skills and knowledge to become a specialist health professional, caring for people with foot and lower limb conditions.

The BSc (Hons) Podiatry course enables you to develop the knowledge and skills to become a safe, competent and effective podiatry practitioner. Upon successful completion of the course you can apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council to practice as a podiatrist.

The course is designed to help you develop the skills and attributes to meet the varied aspects of the role of the podiatrist. Theoretical underpinning is supported by experiential learning opportunities through clinical simulation and placements in the NHS, private practice and industry.

The foundation year will support your preparation to study at undergraduate level and is taught at Wolverhampton City Campus. On successful completion of the foundation year you will then be taught for the remaining three years at Walsall Campus.
