This unique, fast-track option is offered to qualified nutritional therapy practitioners (DipION or equivalent) who want to enhance their practice skills, research an area of interest, and gain additional credibility from a science honours degree.
In clinical practice, when faced with particular health conditions, practitioners may seek greater depth of knowledge that they can apply to their practice. The top-up provides the opportunity for you to explore and research the subject that is of interest to you, creating a pathway for you to become an expert in your chosen area.
Practitioners also work with clients with a range of nutrition and lifestyle challenges. The course is designed to equip you with the skills in how to guide your clients towards making effective and meaningful change; enabling you to not only achieve better results in practice but also to grow your business.
Modules combine the latest theoretical and applied knowledge from nutritional science as well as the psychology of behaviour change. Add new skills to build your practice whilst further developing your skills in guiding clients towards making effective and lasting nutritional and lifestyle changes.
The BSc (Hons) Nutritional Therapy top-up is the only fast-track pathway to a degree in nutritional therapy, using recognised prior learning. This course has an emphasis on innovation, the latest research and skill-enhancement. We offer academic and pastoral support, as well as flexible study choices, to help you balance your learning alongside your professional and personal commitments.
