The innovative BSc (Hons) Fashion Business and Management is responding to the needs of the rapidly evolving global fashion industry where the customer is steering businesses to think and act smarter. By joining the BSc (Hons) Fashion Business and Management, you will take a journey that will put you at the forefront of current thinking within the fashion industry and prepare you to excel as a graduate and a future leader. Successful companies are putting their customer at the heart of the brand. Marketing, buying, merchandising, data insight, digital channels and in store have to work together to design a service to bring about a total customer experience. This requires fashion graduates with the vision, entrepreneurial thinking, business management and marketing skillsets to be successful within this vibrant industry.

Career prospects

The fashion industry presents graduates with the opportunity to take up management level positions across the globe. There is an increased need in the industry for graduates with business, innovation and corporate entrepreneurial skills to enter management positions - this degree will equip you with those skills. The optional placement year will allow you to gain valuable experience to kick start you career.

The broad fashion business knowledge acquired, and real business learning will allow you to visualise businesses as holistic entities and respond appropriately. This provides you with the opportunity to consider employment opportunities in a wide variety of sectors in the industry, from independent design houses to high-end chains. Graduates will be able to enter a range of roles and functions such as Marketing, International Brand Management, Digital Enterprise, Multichannel Management, Buying, Merchandising, Logistics and Supply Chain, Retail Management, Project Management and Strategic Management.
