This one-year top-up degree is ideal for international students who have been awarded an engineering diploma and wish to use their current qualifications to further develop specialist knowledge and expertise in engineering.

With project-based learning, youll develop the transferable skills and the multi-disciplinary awareness so highly valued by industry.

Study engineering at Manchester Met and youll have the opportunity to specialise in topics such as advanced electronics, communications and networks. Youll also learn to use advanced engineering software as you develop your analytical skills and work on more cutting-edge topics.

When you graduate, you will be awarded a BSc (Hons) Engineering Science.

Course information

On the engineering science top-up degree, you will study the latest developments and challenges in global engineering and your chosen specialist area, and you will choose a major individual project. You could be working directly with industrial experts, or with one of our research groups. This will give you experience of the latest engineering challenges faced by industry and society.
