Building Surveyors look at building pathology, focusing on refurbishment, reuse, development, restoration, repair, and conservation. With our Building Surveying degree course, you can develop a knowledge base and skill set that can lead to exciting global opportunities across many industries in the the built environment sector. Covering a broad range of key industry areas, the course curriculum explores a series economic, legal, technical design and management modules. You’ll learn about the construction industry and its legal and regulatory framework, and explore the relationship between a building and its internal and external environments. You’ll recognise how to diagnose problems with existing buildings and be aware of conservation and regeneration.
