Our diverse Biomedical Science degree focuses on many areas of medical and biosciences. It is taught by experienced academics in areas including cell biology, cancer biology, microbiology and haematology. Our student placements range from large multinational firms, government agencies and the NHS to smaller companies engaged in research, analytical services and manufacturing.

This course prepares you for roles in the public and private healthcare sectors. This might include the NHS, the National Blood Service, the Health Protection Agency, Medical Research Council and Health and Safety Executive, forensic laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry. Previous students have gone on to work for Eon, Dyson, ADEY, PS Analytical and E-liquids, GSK, and NHS hospitals.
