Learn the skills you need for a successful career in Architectural Technology. Our degree apprenticeship complies with academic requirements to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT).
The Architectural Technology degree brings together all aspects of the design process, from concept through to completion, to develop key problem-solving skills which are ideal for employability.
The course focuses on the making of detailed decisions about the design and construction of buildings and their immediate surroundings. It looks at both new and existing buildings.
You will be taught by highly experienced members of staff who are qualified architectural technologist and architects, BIM experts and tutors who practice in architecture offices. The staff team also has significant combined experience in the teaching of architectural technology.

Future careers and the role of an Architectural Technologist
Chartered Architectural Technologists are recognised as being qualified to negotiation and manage the development of construction projects. And focuses on the technical side of architecture, rather than the creative.
The course covers the range of design problems that architectural technologists work on, including commercial, industrial, retail, leisure and residential projects and these may involve new-build, adaptation, restoration maintenance or interiors.
