Biomedical Engineering is one of the key research themes for the Research centre in Computer Science. We focus on computational and computer-based aspects of biomedical engineering, such as applications of robotics, data analytics applications and tools in biomedical contexts, intelligent control for rehabilitation engineering applications, computational tools for public health and so on.

We focus on computational and computer-based aspects of biomedical engineering, such as applications of robotics, data analytics applications and tools in biomedical contexts, intelligent control for rehabilitation engineering applications, computational tools for public health and so on.
We have extensive expertise and experience in robotics, data science, data analytics, wearable sensor systems, user experience design, social media analytics, and evidence based engineering. We collaborate with colleagues in the Faculty of Medicine and in hospitals.
