The new super lab is great, love having self service in the shop. I think blackwells should come back or something like an equivalent. Overall uni is okay looks a bit empty tho lowkey could do with more comfy seating like the learning curve type of chairs or sofas. The new campus looks sooo much better than this but not fair because this is the main one. Also the library is so dated pls make it cuter and more inviting it’s too green. All in all nice place love starbies and subway x

Best - Online facilities (using blackboard for course resources, etc), the library at Kedleston road campus, the support through wellbeing, and the student accommodation. Worst - Support with studying from some lecturers could be better, more support for mental health and finance.

Positives: Friendly staff and small cohort sizes results in effective teaching. Workload is not overwhelming Close to city centre and transport links are good Negatives: The union shop is quite expensive Night life is awful.

The University of Derby is a great University that makes sure that the students are cared for both pastorally and educationally. The education with the personal touch is evident and I would recommend this university in a heartbeat.

Great university with loads of support, giving that real personal touch to university education which you don't get with other universities. Facilities are second to none and the new sport centre is on its way to even further add to what the university of derby as on offer
