Our biology degree covers all the major biological concepts, including evolution and genetics. You'll also gain valuable hands-on experience in laboratories and learn important field techniques. On this biology course, youll develop a breadth of understanding and hands-on practical skills. Enabling you to apply your expertise to the many challenges we face in the world today. Such as microbial resistance, climate change, safe and sustainable food production and the conservation of endangered species.Take part in extensive practical classes and become competent in advanced research techniques. You'll use our analytical suite, scanning electron microscope and DNA sequencing facilities. And you can access these facilities during your final year research project.
