Take your scientific ideas from the lab bench to the marketplace with an innovative Biotechnology and Enterprise course. No prior knowledge of business or enterprise is needed as you study biotechnology alongside entrepreneurship, fully supported by our outstanding Business School. You’ll develop in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of applied cellular and molecular life sciences, in addition to the business skills necessary to turn your ideas into a reality. With this exciting degree you’ll be prepared to face global challenges such as food security, designing biofuels and development of new medicines, having a practical impact on the world. This 3 year BSc can also be converted into an integrated Masters (MBiol) with an optional additional year of specialist training, subject to suitable academic performance and availability. You would study advanced research topics and undertake your own extended research project.
