At York, we have a unique approach to studying languages. Our transcultural and decolonised approach to language learning allows for deeper reflection on the values, attitudes, and practices of different cultures.Spending a year abroad will give you confidence in your speaking, and allow you to have valuable first-hand experiences of transcultural encounters.
