The BA (Hons) Law and Business with Foundation Year programme is designed for students who have an interest in Law and wish to understand its operation in a business environment.

Our BA (Hons) Law and Business with Foundation Year course is delivered by a highly experienced faculty of academics and expert tutors from a broad mix of disciplines in the fields of law and business. The course offers flexible study options allowing you to choose which style of learning works best for you. We are pleased to offer all students the opportunity to learn about RCL’s unique Personal, Leadership and Growth programme: Thinking into Character. Designed to help you understand, manage and lead yourself effectively to achieve success in all areas of your professional career.

The degree focusses on practical (as well as theoretical) teaching.
Allows you to develop the analytical and critical skills essential for formulating legal arguments.
You will also study a range of specialist subjects that are specific to your career aspirations, whilst developing all important transferable skills required for any legal workplace.
You will be equipped with the ability to apply skills such as fact management, decision making, research and independent learning in a wide variety of legal situations.

Solicitor*
Business: COO, CEO, HR director

*Since the September 2021 anyone who has not started a QLD is now able to qualify as a solicitor through the Solicitor’s Qualification Exam route (SQE). The candidate must:

Complete both stages of assessment, SQE1 and SQE2
Complete a degree-level qualification or equivalent
Complete two years of qualifying work experience (QWE)
Satisfy the SRA’s character and suitability requirements
