The BA (Hons) History and Theology is led by HTC and the university's Centre for History, both of which possess recognised expertise in their respective fields. This joint degree provides a distinctive study opportunity combining two different but complementary subjects

The history element provides a thorough examination of medieval, early modern and modern Britain, Europe and the wider world. The theology element, while also engaging with other Christian traditions, focuses on theology, primarily from an evangelical and Reformed perspective.

Each year, you will build on your analytical and research abilities through a series of skills modules.

You can also choose to specialise in Scottish History at the upper levels and graduate with a BA (Hons) Scottish History and Theology degree.

Once you have successfully completed the BA (Hons) History and Theology or BA (Hons) Scottish History and Theology, you might like to consider careers in:
