Teesside University is a place one can easily slot in especially as an international student. There is no form of discrimination in any way and there is student support for nearly everything.

The lecturers are approachable, supportive, and genuinely interested in helping students succeed. Many modules are industry-focused, with real-world projects that help build confidence and job-ready skills. The campus is modern and well-equipped, especially the computing, library, and digital facilities. Middlesbrough is also an affordable student city, which makes living and studying less stressful. Worst aspects / areas for improvement: While the teaching quality is good, some administrative processes could be improved, such as quicker responses from support services and clearer communication around timetables and assessments. In a few modules, the workload can feel uneven across the semester. There could also be more frequent networking events and stronger links with top companies to help students secure placements and graduate roles more easily. Overall: Teesside University offers a supportive learning environment with strong practical teaching and good facilities. With improved administration and expanded industry connections, it could become an even better place to study.
