We welcome research proposals in topics including:Histories of records, archives and record-keeping practicesInformation legislationRecord-keeping theory and principlesDigital preservation, digitisation, and accessRecord-keeping and the environment (including historic environmental information, sustainability)Widening participation in archives, cultural heritage and higher educationCommunity archives and documentation practicesArchitecture and archives (including architectural records and documentation, the architecture of archives repositories)Therapeutic uses of archives and recordsUses of AI and machine learning in cataloguing.
Youll typically need both of the following:
A UK undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above, or and overseas equivalent, in a relevant subject
A UK masters degree at Merit or above, or overseas equivalent, in a relevant subject.
