Architectural technologists are practical problem solvers. They work with architects, engineers and builders to turn architectural vision into designs that are buildable, sustainable, economical and structurally sound. On our Architectural Technology degree you’ll learn to take architectural design projects from concept to completion and appreciate the impact of architectural technology on people’s lives, and our built and natural environment. Architectural technologists are practical problem solvers. They work with architects, engineers and builders to turn architectural vision into designs that are buildable, sustainable, economical and structurally sound. On our Architectural Technology degree you’ll learn to take architectural design projects from concept to completion and appreciate the impact of architectural technology on people’s lives, and our built and natural environment. You’ll develop your skills and gain extensive knowledge of design processes, construction methods, environments, materials and the latest technologies including Building Information Modelling (BIM). Fieldwork, site visits and working on live briefs in interdisciplinary teams provides further insight into professional practice.
